The above-mentioned foreign students refer to those degree-seeking foreign students at undergraduate or graduate level, whose qualifications are stipulated in the "NUK Admission regulations for Foreign Students."

The students who have received other scholarship / assistantship will not be awarded NUK scholarship / assistantship.

The recipients must maintain outstanding "Moral Conduct" grade without records of illegal behavior or misconduct.

This scholarship is valid for one academic year. Students must apply every year.

Notice for newcoming students:

Please make sure that your application form has been checked for scholarship application.

1.Awarders list will be avilable after two weeks of admission results announcement.

2.Candidates should complete the scholarship endorsement procedure after two weeks of awarders list announcement.

3.If awarder doesn't have registration endorsement deposit transit, award qualification will be automatically give to next priority candidate.

Scholarship endorsement deposit is 10,000 NTD. It will deduct from tuition after registration finishing. Please contact dia@nuk.edu.tw after you finishing transit.

Taiwan Scholarship Budget Source

The Scholarship Program of Taiwan established by two government agencies of the Republic of China (Taiwan) --- Ministry of Education (MOE) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) --- to encourage outstanding international

students to undertake degree programs in Taiwan.

Limitation
The Scholarship Program of Taiwan is only eligible for International Students (except exchange student), who have achieved excellent academic performance, and have not received other scholarships from any government

agency, or organization outside of the university.

For application receipt, review, and selection, applicants must send their completed documents to Taiwan representative office, closest to their home countries’ permanent residence.

Kaohsiung City Government International Student Scholarships

Application Deadline: May 1 and June 1 of every year
 

Applicants: International Students

Amount: NT$36,000/year, split in half and awarded in 2 semesters.
